Optical Measurement Solutions, Photonic Sensors, Sensing Systems, 3D Real-time control systems, transducer, multi-mode fibres optoelectronics
Solution competences for different lines of business (automotive, civil engineering, automation, production industry of high-value miniature components, building and construction safety, monitoring etc)
Robust, ergonomic sensors and sensing systems for extreme applications, high/low temperatures, magnetically loaded environments, large distances, narrow mounting spaces etc. The systems generate no sparks and are therefore also usable in explosive environments
Simple integration, simple management of even extensive amounts of test points by PHOSYLAB´s software. PHOSYLAB´s technique supports you to evaluate different measuring parameters. This makes evaluation much simpler, especially if the number of test points increases.
Innovative sensors and sensing systems based on of patented multi-mode fibre and transducer technology
Innovative sensors and sensing systems based on of patented multi-mode fibre and transducer technology
Freely scalable networks, the detection units can multiplex 20 to 50 sensors; sensors may be removed or added without hardware changes. Additional boards are simply added for more than 50 sensors and supervised by the same processor (PC or microcontroller).

Elegance: Technology and Design – at the same time robust and ergonomic
The brilliantly simple technology of PHOSYLAB´s sensing systems enables the slim and elegant design of the sensing systems. The sensing systems consist of different optical multimode fibres. On the one hand the classic optical fibre and on the other, optical waveguides integrated in a microchip. PHOSYLAB´s MM-FOS technology stands out by the fact that the multimode fibre is integrated into the architecture of the sensor.
Ergonomics is just as relevant as durability. In areas and assemblies where space is critical PHOSYLAB´s sensing systems present themselves from their best, the “slim” side.

Measurement method:
The measurand acts on the sensor and stimulates in a particular way the phenomenon of mode coupling along a segment of the fibre. The mode coupling results in an energy loss which is proportional to measurand acting on the sensor..

• Flexible transducer technology adaptable to almost any specification - custom built

• Simple integration, simple management of even substantial numbers of test points by PHOSYLAB´s software. PHOSYLAB´s analysis techniques enable you to evaluate different measuring parameters. This makes evaluation much simpler, especially if the number of test points increases.

• Utilization of energy-saving optical sources (LED), low-consumption sensors

• In-line sensors, no voluminous connectors required at interfaces

• Freely scalable networks, the detection units can multiplex 20 to 50 sensors; sensors may be removed or added without hardware changes. Additional boards are simply added for more than 50 sensors and controlled by the same processor (PC or microcontroller).

• Lower PC resources consumption

• Long operation period
